The blatant deception by the mainstream media has finally cost a top Democrat.
Rather than checking his facts, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) bought a New York Times headline hook, line, and sinker.
The problem was the headline was wrong, making Sanders look like a fool in the process.
Uhm, Bernie…
Sanders slammed Israel for not providing Palestine with the vaccine since it is the occupying power.
He did so based on a recent headline in the New York Times…
As the occupying power, Israel is responsible for the health of all the people under its control. It is outrageous that Netanyahu would use spare vaccines to reward his foreign allies while so many Palestinians in the occupied territories are still waiting. https://t.co/kx4qFPtRQl

You see, what Sanders did not realize was that the headline was clickbait to create outrage, and he clearly did not read the article.
If he had, he would have realized that the article conceded Israel has provided more vaccines to Palestine than anyone else.
It has provided thousands of vaccines for medical workers and was going to vaccinate an additional 100,000 Palestinians that work in Israel.
Israel has also agreed to purchase more vaccines and transfer them to the Palestinians…
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Sometimes I read the NY Times on Israel and wonder which other countries it's misleading me about.

It just goes to show how much Democrats despise Israel and will go to any lengths to try to make this specific ally look bad.
It is just sad that we have people in our government who cannot be bothered to dig further than a click-bait headline.
