Democrats get to say things conservatives cannot these days, and what Alabama State Rep. John Rodgers said about Donald Trump, Jr. is proof of that.
Rep. Rodgers had made some rather controversial comments about abortion and was criticized for them by Trump Jr., so Rodgers answered back that Trump Jr. is “proof that mothers ought to have the right to have an abortion.”
Rodgers then took it a step further, stating, “He is evidently retarded or crazy.”
Kill Them Now or Later
This all got started during an abortion debate in the Alabama State House.
Rodgers stated, “Some kids are unwanted, so you kill them now or you kill them later.
“You bring them in the world unwanted, unloved, you send them to the electric chair.
“So, you kill them now or you kill them later.”

Trump Jr Comments
As Rodgers statement made its way around social media, Trump Jr. saw it and responded.
He called Rodgers’ view “truly sickening.”
This is stomach curling and makes Ralph Northam look like a moderate on abortion.
Every Democrat running for President needs to be asked where they stand on this. The extreme turn we've seen from Dems on abortion recently is truly sickening. https://t.co/KchZfqvQMK

After Trump sent out his tweet, a local TV station approached Rodgers to respond to the comments by the President’s son.
Rodgers stated, “Thank God, right on.
“That let’s me know I’m right, cause I don’t know nothing he’s been right on since he been here.
“That proves I’m right to make a scene about abortion, him being born – that’s proof right there.
“That’s a very, very good defense I have for abortion right there… him.
“Look at him. His mother should have aborted him [before] he was born.
“He wouldn’t have made that stupid statement, right?”
A spokesman for Trump Jr. has since replied, calling Rodgers comments “vile” and “par for the course for the Democrat Party.”
