Nashville police are now investigating a massive explosion in what they are describing as an “intentional” event.
Details are still coming in regarding the incident in downtown Nashville, but the devastation caused by the explosion is significant.
Police have stated that they believe this “intentional act” has been linked to an RV in the area of the explosion.
Witnesses reported hearing what sounded like gunfire after an argument.
Then one of the men that was in the argument reportedly barricaded himself in a nearby home just before the explosion went off.
One man that lived nearby stated, “All my windows, every single one of them got blown into the next room.
“If I had been standing there it would have been horrible.
“It felt like a bomb. It was that big.
“There were about four cars on fire. I don’t know if it was so hot they just caught on fire, and the trees were all blown apart.”
There is all kinds of speculation about the bombing, including if this was done by someone that had been radicalized, but that is purely speculation at this point.
