So, how do you make money off family members in politics?
Well, there are three major ways.
First, you can do what we all “think” Joe Biden did for Hunter and other family members in greasing the ways for business deals that he or she would never have access to otherwise.
The second way is also a Biden family favorite, as well as people like Pelosi and Waters, in that you funnel campaign money to their “job” and pay them way more than they are worth simply to let them get their piece of the pie.
The third way is to sell access, or at least the appearance of access, which is already happening in the Biden administration.
Reports are blowing up all over the internet of how Jeff Ricchetti, the brother of Biden aide Steve Ricchetti, is already raking in huge lobbying contracts.
About a week after Biden “won” the election, Ricchetti’s firm landed a massive lobbying contract with Amazon Web Services.
Two days later, he added Evofem Biosciences to the roster, a company that wants contraceptives to be covered in federal healthcare plans.
The appointments by Biden and how their family members are connected is not going unnoticed.
Alexandra Rojas of the progressive group Justice Democrats stated, “If Joe Biden continues making corporate-friendly appointments to his White House, he will risk quickly fracturing the hard-earned goodwill his team built with progressives to defeat Donald Trump.”
This is what Joe Biden has done his entire career, so I don’t know why anyone would be surprised about this.
