Man Who Raped and Murdered 10-year-old Girl Finally Put to Death

The man who committed one of the more despicable crimes we have ever seen has finally paid the price and has been truly brought to justice.

Keith Dwayne Nelson, who raped and murdered 10-year-old Pamela Butler, was executed on Friday afternoon.

The Crime

Nelson killed Pamela Butler in 1999, but not before he raped her.

He had reportedly spotted the little girl playing before and told one of his friends that he was going to kill her.

While Pamela was outside rollerblading with her sisters in Kansas City, KS, Nelson pulled up in a truck, grabbed her, and drove off.

After raping the little girl, he strangled her with a wire, then buried her behind a church in Kansas City, MO.

Nelson was grabbed two days later and eventually pleaded guilty to the charges.

He was sentenced to death and has been on death row for nearly two decades.

When he was given the chance to address the family of Pamela and apologize for his crime, he merely sat there silent, refusing to say a word, clearly unrepentant for what he did…

This finally enabled Pamela’s mother to get some closure in what is actually the second daughter lost at the hands of a murderer.

Three years ago, Cherri West, Pamela’s mother, spoke with local news station KMBC about the murder of Pamela’s older sister…

Thankfully, she now has closure on Pamela’s death.
