Chris Evans, the star of “Captain America” and the “Avengers” series, had some rather harsh words about both the President and Tom Brady, the QB of the New England Patriots.
On his relationship with Tom Brady, Evans stated, “If he doesn’t, if he’s still on that Trump train, I might have to cut ties. It’s really tough.”
Wake Up
The insults aimed at Brady continued throughout Evans’ interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
Being Captain American apparently allows you to pass judgment on everyone else, even if you actually have no idea where they currently stand on a subject.
About Brady and his perceived support of Trump, Evans stated, “I really hope he’s not a Trump supporter.
“I’m just hoping he’s one of those guys that maybe supported him and now regrets it. Maybe he thought it was going to be different — and even that bothers me — but maybe there’s a chance now he just thinks Trump’s an absolute dumb s—, which he is.
“If he doesn’t, if he’s still on that Trump train, I might have to cut ties. It’s really tough.”
Another Hollywood Liberal
Evans is clearly yet another Hollywood liberal that thinks being on the big screen allows you to dictate what others are supposed to like and feel.
Whether Brady supports Trump or not is his own business.
It is common knowledge Brady has played golf with Trump but to constantly put him in the ringer over a hat that was spotted in his locker four years ago is a disgrace.
Since then, Brady has never stood with Trump to support him in any way, quite the contrary.
The one time Brady did speak up it was on the anthem, where Brady supported his teammates and called President Trump’s stance on the anthem “divisive.”
Evans can now add himself to the list of Hollywood stars that will be boycotted by Trump supporters and conservatives in general.
For someone that is best-known for a character that is trying to save the world, he sure does have some very divisive things to say about others.
When will these stars learn to stick to entertaining and to keep their political opinions to themselves?
