If you bothered to tune into the Super Bowl this weekend, you probably saw a Jeep ad with Bruce Springsteen calling for unity.
The entire ad dripped with hypocrisy, none larger than the fact that Springsteen was reportedly arrested for a DUI in November that had never been reported.
Bruce’s DUI
According to reports, Springsteen was traveling through Sandy Hook when he was spotted by some fans.
They asked him to come over and do a shot of tequila with them, and he obliged.
He then reportedly got back on the road, which is when he was reportedly stopped by an officer and charged with the DUI.
Reports broke last night and today that he was actually below the legal limit, but he had also been charged with reckless driving and consuming alcohol in a closed area, so there would appear to more facts about this that have yet to come to light.
The Hypocrisy
As if having a spoiled celebrity charged with a DUI doing a car ad is not bad enough, there is also this unity pitch that Springsteen is now doing…

What is so hypocritical about that? Well, before the election, Springsteen was regularly spitting venom at Trump and his supporters.
He also is one of many celebrities that threatened to leave the country if Trump won the election.
Just prior to the election, Springsteen interviewed with an Australian outlet where he stated, “I love Australia.
“Every time, we have nothing but good times down there. It’s always a treat to come.
“Love the people, love the geography, great place for motorcycle trips, it’s close to our hearts.
“If Trump is re-elected – which he will not be; I’m predicting right now he’s gonna lose – if by some happenstance he should be, I’ll see you on the next plane.”
So, I ask you, is that the man that should be making a unity pitch to conservatives to come together with spoiled leftists like himself.
It sure is funny how the rules change when they win, isn’t it?
